I put up a personal photo of myself, but it's limited to 100x100 (so it was resized to 100x75) but I noticed that Cerebrus has a significantly larger picture of himself that 100x100...just wondering what's going on.

I can understand a limit for photos hosted on DSF, but otherwise I don't really understand it. Well, maybe a larger limit (like 1024x768 and 400k or something) would be good for those of us who are hosting it elsewhere.

k. i turned off the limits. i had it set at 50k max for uploaded images.. but i don't think i want to host everyone's pictures..

Sounds fine. That limit sounds small enough to discourage people from hosting images unless they have no other option.

BTW, I tried removing and then re-updating my picture and it's still limited too 100x75...what gives?

It also could be that my image is hosted on my own webspace, not on the forums server, If anyone wants me to host their pic just e-mail it to me and ill put it up. biggrin.gif

Hmmm probably because i got in before the restrictions were put on then. But if diesel took off the restrictions shouldnt it work fine for you guys now?

Yes suposibly he did, but it doesn't work still... nothing big and nothing too worry about. I could live without that feature easily.
