Ok, here's the deal, I've been thinking about getting another car for fun/track use. I have several options but I'm not sure what I should do. The two cars I'm thinking about are, 1971 datsun 510 or an 89-93 nissan 240sx.

the 510: I found one for sale for $1800 missing the engine, trans, most interior peices, and some exterior pieces, but the body is in exelent shape.

the 240sx: $1500, he said the engine died, but everything else is in good shape.

Both of those cars are ripoffs...

For that price you can find a mk1 MR2 in great shape.

I'd have the Datsun but if you pick the 240SX get an RB26DET and put it in there.

I know, I plan on negotiating.

I should also mention I only have a budget of $2500.

Well, the later years weren't that bad. Post-flips, it got pretty sexy.
