What do you think of the Koenigsegg? (both CC and CCR)

I don't like the shape and design that much, but it's above average for sure.

I prefer Italian supercars and one British supercar (McLaren F1).

Please add pics, description, and specs. And the options should look like the other Cool Wall postings.

I like the Koenigsegg in red or black. The CC model have 655 HP and the CCR have 806(!) HP. The engine is at 4,7 liters. The are many similarities between the CC and the CCR. But, the CCR is slightly better.

CCR facts:
The weight of the CCR is 1180 kg.
0-135 mph (217 km/h) in 10 s flat.
0-100 km/h in 3,2 s.
Top speed 395+ km/h (242 mph).
Quarter mile: 9 s, trap speed 235 km/h (146 mph).
Braking 100-0 km/h 31 m.
It's height of only 1,07 m reduces the frontal area and helps the Koenigsegg attain a remarkable top-speed.

I have loved this car before it was even heard of around 4 years ago

the problem is that the steering/clutch/gear change is heavy...like an american car

I think it's cool, even though I personally don't really like it at all, but it's got some good performance specs. I think part of the reason I dislike it is because I used to think it was decent, but then everyone I know loves this car, and I just got sick of it.

I love this car. If I was a billionaire this would be on my extremely short cars to buy list (about 6 six cars). I voted Sub.

i loved this car a while ago also, but now that almost everyone knows about it, its hype is blown out of the water

it is like the same thing with the Enzo, McLaren F1, nothing against those cars, but they are every little boy's dream car and everyone thinks it is the best of any car out on the road today, when in reality it is not pratical. dont get me wrong, if you are talking about speed records and stuff like that, then yes, these cars have set the bar for all the other cars to meet. but like you said Boxster; now that everyone loves it, i am starting ot dislike it.

but, what do i think about the Koenigsegg? i Really like the doors how they open, they are a twist the Lamborghini sytle door, the CC8 looks really badass in black, and the over all clean look of the car is what i like about it.

so yeah, i guess i will give it a cool thumbs_up.gif

I have heard rumor about the Koenigsegg being faster than the McLaren F1 when it comes to top speed.

Is this true? huh.gif

No, no, no, that's 'only' 388 km/h.

I have a video on my computer that show the McLaren F1 do 391km/h!

How do you explain that? laugh.gif

391? are you sure? how come it wasnt documented, as being the fastest?

was it tuned in any way, because the Mclaren F1 held the record for the fasted PRODUCTION car, and tuning a car wont make it in the rule books

Oh, I see. rolleyes.gif

Well, the video looks real. There's a display in the car and a guy saying: "391km/h". But, of course, it can be fake and/or a tuned car.

Don't remember if the F1 did 391, but the video is real, and I believe the only mod done to the car was a taller 6th gear fitted to the car...

I give it a cool. It's not a mainstream car which is good, it's fast whoch is even better. I've heard lots of good things about the throottle response, clutch feel and willingness to GO.
