These pain me...

Posted by: 4wheelfreak Feb 15 2009, 06:19 PM

why do the wheels lean inwards like that on the dumped luxs?

Fixed.

Posted by: OHirtenfelder Feb 15 2009, 11:56 PM

Nothing wrong with the balck RX-7 IMO, and the A5 is dropped just a little bit too much. The rest must die.

Posted by: clarkma5 Feb 16 2009, 12:10 AM

The RX-7's definitely nice, I agree. A couple of the others are OK but those two lexii are awful and the jetta's pretty bad too.

Posted by: JeepTruck86 Apr 14 2009, 10:51 AM

I guess just: why? The Audi looks pretty cool. The Benz would be okay if not for the red lips(tick). The rest are baffling.

Posted by: duality Apr 14 2009, 11:23 AM

hahaha

Posted by: Aircooled Apr 14 2009, 02:16 PM

The lexus is the worst by a large margin. You could run tyres half as wide in the back and get away with it

Posted by: Phix Apr 14 2009, 03:02 PM

Seriously, in places where there aren`t retarded people who think these things are... are sensible would consider that Lexus to have suffered some horrible suspension failure.

That RX-7 at least looks good.

Posted by: Lancer007 Apr 14 2009, 05:28 PM

bleh.gif Nothing ruins a car faster for me than seeing excessive negative camber and/or tires past the fender arch.

It looks like something in the suspension snapped. If I pulled up alongside one of those at a stoplight, I'd roll down my window and ask if their suspension was intact.

Posted by: Benny Apr 14 2009, 08:56 PM

this is terrible.
fuck vip style

Posted by: MustangAficionado Apr 14 2009, 09:17 PM

This shit makes me want to cut myself.
Guy in the college car club im on the baord of has a Lexus SC300 that's totally vip's out, low and tire stretched + negative camber. He heard the deal i got on my forged wheels and asked for the guys number in case he had more since he has the same bolt pattern (these are 18x10 wheels, im sure he'd be putting 205's on em), i wanted to tell him to suck my caulk.
Sad thing is he prolly gets much more female attention for that BS, I think he put it on the dyno for the fre dyno day and put down 155...You open the hood and its a dusty mess

They got pissed when none of the lexus guys got an award at the last car show. Started talking about how "my wheels cost more than his car"

Posted by: Ozi Apr 21 2009, 08:06 PM

Dude, It looks ugly as shit. Plus, can you even drive like that ? WTF

Posted by: hexagone Apr 22 2009, 05:00 PM

Most of those guys are on bags and don't ever drive their car in such ways.

If you've ever seen a guy roll in at a car show with bags their ride height will be relatively normal, sans camber.

Posted by: wilch Apr 26 2009, 11:55 AM

Posted by: moe Apr 26 2009, 11:58 AM

Of all the tacky shit you see here, thank God VIP-style hasn't caught on in Dubai...or at least not yet X.gif

Also that S2k is hot...I even like those tacky, blue wheels (the wheels aren't tacky, just the blue).

Posted by: hexagone Apr 27 2009, 06:51 PM

Shut up.

Posted by: Lancer007 Apr 28 2009, 04:48 PM

I have a couple friends that live or visit out here often that are from Chicago and everyone there it seems slams their cars. It's certainly not my thing, but some people manage to pull it off. Not that VIP shit Lexus up there, but that Jetta and S2K while still being a bit low for my taste don't look too bad.

Posted by: nismo Apr 29 2009, 02:35 AM

Enough for now. hah

Posted by: Razor Apr 29 2009, 03:42 AM

I actually kind of like that Benz. And my god, what's the next one after it? Matte black FTMFW.

Posted by: moe Apr 29 2009, 03:48 AM

^ Silvia.

That Benz is just insane.

Posted by: clarkma5 May 1 2009, 03:28 PM

Those latest pics are pretty fucking gorgeous actually. More of al ALMS GT or Super Touring Car style than VIP.

BTW I saw an Accord in the VIP style last night. It really did have like 20 of rear camber as it was going down the road.

No negative.

Sold it. But I have pictures somewhere. Lemme look.

Posted by: moe May 2 2009, 08:29 AM

You should just do a full thread with all your cars. I'd love to see that.

My harddrive crashed, and I haven't backed any of my pictures up, so only a few hosted pictures of some of the cars. I'll look, though.

it is funny to me all the responses i have read. on all the other car forums that i frequent, the VIP style is very much appreciated. i personally like it. would i do it myself? prolly not. not a functional style. i guess to each his own right?

RUST!!

Posted by: turbobrick Dec 10 2009, 10:15 PM

I'll be honest, I like pretty much every car in this thread. Not a fan of the rust fad though.

Posted by: redls1bird Dec 11 2009, 06:48 PM

What is up with the rust though?? It looks like you drive a hunk of shit! (in some cases they are legitimate piles of shit) Although, i did see a golf that actually looked halfway decent with its corroded hood..

EDIT:

both of these look pretty sweet.

Posted by: Jiggly Blubber Dec 11 2009, 06:59 PM

Isn't it some Euro thing with slammed Rabbits and Golfs with missing bumpers?

Posted by: vinh291 Dec 12 2009, 10:13 AM

yea i never understood the euro rust thing, now going on hondas.. looks grimy to me

Posted by: nismo Feb 1 2010, 09:38 AM

Posted by: Altostratus Feb 3 2010, 03:20 PM

i like the look of VIP aswell. But id never bastardize the LS like that.

also it seems alot of people like to ruin the driving dynamic of S2000's. Strange.

Posted by: Diesel Feb 21 2010, 10:07 PM

Posted by: Razor Feb 22 2010, 07:08 AM

That would be awesome if not for the broken suspension.

Posted by: porsche944 Feb 22 2010, 10:35 AM

If the rear tires weren't so skinny i'd like it

Posted by: Lancer007 Feb 22 2010, 09:02 PM

Posted by: moe Feb 23 2010, 02:53 AM

I don't particularly like it, but it's interesting to see because my dad used to have an identical car.

Posted by: Lancer007 Apr 21 2010, 12:05 AM

I'm not sure what the best part is. The stylish wheels, the black primer hood or the yakima luggage rack
