Car: 2004 Audi RS6

An Audi RS6! Raspberry.gif I didn't want to tell you until I signed the papers, but I was lucky enough to find one last weekend. Me and my wife came to a mutual agreement and we traded in the Allroad as a partial payment. I was able to negociate the price down to $65,000 including extended warranty but this is all because I know the manager. I pick up the car within a week or so, and I promise to provide you guys with some real pictures this time! The car is a 2004 in Daytona Grey, boy am I pumped. Why I have 2 S cars I don't know, but it sure as hell doesn't bother me!

Here are some pictures of the car and a link to the site incase you are curious.

And it was just yesterday that we were calling the RS6 classy but not sexy in the IRC chat, and Phix wrote it off his dreamlist for being automatic only.

Personally, Audi lover though I may be, I can't applaud this. Too much of a fat cat's car. Where's the 911?

For $65,000 I can forget a 911. I'd much rather have an RS6. I see 911's all the time but there's only 90 in Canada and I feel extremely happy to know I own one of them.

You've traded 3000 pounds of flat-6 powered joy for a much more sedate and fat, not to mention automatic-driven, vehicle. Plus you already have an S4...why an RS6? IMO rarity only gets you so far...I would've gotten the better car even if it were more common.

Despite being an auto, i still think it's a great car. Besides, if you're feeling the clutch you can always get in the S4.
Great choice, and a really nice color too.
Looking forward to more pics

Is there a reason there is only an auto option for this car?

I have always liked the RS6...nice car...But I wouldn't trade an Allroad for one...especially if I had 3 kids.

Audi's manual transmissions couldn't take the amount of torque the engine produced so they had to use the tiptronic.
