I want to re size 300 folders with 80-100 pictures per folder but not stop to upload each fodler. I want to do it and have it run in the background whilst imd doing other stuff, is there a way you can batch numerous folders and export numerous folders at the same time

Lightroom can do it, just create an export preset and set your size to what ever you and and just make sure that you select 'same folder as original photo' under export location. Then select all your folders (or the one which contains them all) and export using your preset

you can create an action that resizes and saves, then do a batch, select the folder, and check the box that says override save as commands and select a new destination folder. Pretty easy, Photoshop that is.

Yes, do it the Photoshop way. It's recursive, too.
