At first glance, I really like the first one and the last one. The 2nd one doesn't belong in this group in my opinion. The background is all off, and the car looks very pasted in. It is pretty incredible what you're able to do with sub-par snapshots though.

Posted by: Mitch Hemming Jan 8 2011, 05:07 PM

i dont really like the photos and that they are 'fake'

but damnn that last picture is awsome. that defiantly takes some skill to do that

Posted by: FLWE Jan 8 2011, 05:15 PM

The last one is great! Good job. :-)

Posted by: Continentals Jan 8 2011, 05:23 PM

Thanks for a response

Posted by: DonJuanMair Jan 8 2011, 05:53 PM

I dont really like any of them apart from the last one, the other ones look like something you did at the start of your career and the ford feels like your latest work. That being said the last one is awesome. i would prefer it without that other car in the background, it doesnt make much sense why it would be racing a ford

Posted by: Continentals Jan 8 2011, 06:48 PM

Come on my site, there it is very much presented works, it is possible still that that will be pleasant? Thanks

007 in a Jag? Travesty!

Posted by: //deanphoto Jan 9 2011, 12:01 AM

You have some outrageous skills.

I'm surprised everyone likes the last one though, there's a fundamental flaw in that when drifting the rear wheels will be dragged through a corner due to a lack of traction, what you have there in your pic is the front wheels being pushed wide = huge understeer.

By the way in the Casino the Grand piano the new car of the Bond should be Jaguar XF …
But that that at British hasn't grown together and have left DBS.

Judging by weather conditions road slippery enough, on it drift on a forward drive is quite justified.

Great job, I suppose, but the question is; why spend so much time on such crappy photo's? Imagine what you could do with a good shot to start with!

Posted by: Continentals Jan 9 2011, 07:29 AM

This work I am doing under the order, for car owners or for magazines that do not have the opportunity to make such pictures. They sent me a photo, but I'm working with them for a theme ...

My guess: Hellgate London for the city background + Aston Martin shoot pebble ground + WW2 building on the right?

What impresses me most about your postwork is your adding believable reflections INTO the car. I always find that a real test.

Top notch skills man. I think if you just cut back on some of the fantastical elements in your images they would go from "photoshop arty farty work" to impressive "commercial" vibe stuff.

You definitely have some amazing Photoshop skills, but if I compare your work to commercial photography, it doesn't quite cut it. It's a bit like a Chinese imitation, it's close, but there is always something that ruins the total package.

For instance:

This photo looks very cool, but the motion blur of the chasing car is just not right. If you would get that right, the photo would look pretty much perfect as far as I'm concerned!

The difference between almost perfect and perfect is too big to ignore.

Seriously, not to disrespect you, but it would be awesome if you would use your Photoshop skills to produce perfect photos. I'm sure you can! smile.gif

My question was:

Where are the backgrounds of the Pictures from? For example the streets and the houses behind the BMW X6.

:-) Hope you understand what i'm asking.

Yes certainly I understand, sometimes certainly it is necessary to take slices of already ready photos, but I never use ready фоны simply having replaced the car... Very many I draw in the manual. I take photos not author's but which extend free of charge in an easy approach, take place on the Internet without copyrights of the author and all other, that is usual wallpaper smile.gif

All works I carry out on a large scale 3000х - 4000х - for the further press.

I have a challenge for you.

Take a car photo that has a good standard starting point (no nasty reflections, no bad lighting) and create something which looks like a commercial advert. So no crazy special effects, just plain standard great processing. I would love to see that from you.

I yet didn't spread similar processings, as "styling" was a problem, that is to reverse style of the car under stylistics of known racing competitions Le-Man, orange vinyl with a black fringing has been put, gills on a cowl from version RS as daylight diodes under optics and in a bumper as the main accent became on style Le-Man and accordingly the car has transferred to corresponding conditions have been established have been added smile.gif I think it will be better it is all to look visually at video …

You're wrong. Higher quality of the picture = more work. More pixels and sharpness = less place to improvise. Try to create something with good quality, that looks in the end like real photo - this is the bigest challenge.

Look for example here: www.taylorjames.com
When the collage is great ? When you look at it, and you dont know what's copy/pasted. You're skilled, you can work for the biggest, but you have to show, u can create graphics that look like photography.
10 years ago, CGI wasn't taken seriously... until it became photorealistic.

You do not probably understand correctly, I work in high resolution .. The dimensions of my work in the final version - 4000х ... 5000х ... pixels. With regard to the quality of the originals, then there is no need to choose particular, since all the work I do on order that will send a customer order and work)

Actually, technically speaking it is correct. If your car is moving in a straight line & it's rigged, your foreground movement is the most & the more into infinity you go, the sharper it is. It's only when you start doing curves and turns that your entire scene blurs.

You're right, although in this case it seems that the background should at least be blurred at least a few pixels since it's not that far away. smile.gif

In fact, hard to explain, I just feel like the water should look and try to achieve this outcome:)

That FIAT shot is the most impressive of them all! It looks very very clean & crisp. Very hard to tell its a comp. Although, the leaves in the windows look a little odd with no visible tree nearby.

Posted by: Continentals Jun 2 2011, 02:44 AM

Yes, and now look at this work and understand it - that branches of the trees on the left side of the frame - would have been to the place:)

Posted by: mcdronkz Jun 2 2011, 01:19 PM

The FIAT is cool indeed. Seems like you just oversharpened it a bit, as with most of your work.

Posted by: MaTBoY Jun 5 2011, 02:10 PM

I quite like the lack of contrast, it gives it a bright feel and i think it suits the shot.

ok, i understand the time taken would depend on each job, but what's a rough guess for an average shot. 4hours? 12 hours? 15 minutes? wink.gif
