Got this idea from another forum, some people came up with games I had totally forgot about. Which games can be reffered as "the" racing game when you were young?

Here's a few I still have biggrin.gif

Road Rash. That was epic. It wasn't cars, but it was a properly awesome game. Also there was an F1 game on computer. Not sure what it was called. Very cool though.

I played a lot of Gran Turismo 2, the first Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, I had a computer game called Mid Town Madness not sure how big that got but it was pretty fun to drive around Chicago and throw mailboxes at cars.

I forgot about Hard Drivin'. It was at the local arcade and I had it for the Sega Genesis. Fun times driving through the loop or at least trying to.

Does Jet Jockey count? tongue.gif

Also just remembered Midtown Madness 2 (so much fun on a LAN) and Moto Racer (I had it on PC). Generic title, fun game.
